Big Lake Hospice offers a comprehensive benefit package available to staff who are regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week. Part time employees who are scheduled to work at least 27 hours per week are eligible for our earned time off, holiday, and employee assistance program.

Disability Plans Hartford is our Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability carrier. - Paid for by Big Lake Hospice
- Short Term: 60% of weekly earnings up to $400 per week
- Short Term: Covered up to 24 weeks
- Long Term: 60% of monthly earnings up to $6,000 per month
Earned Time Off / Holidays Full and part time employees begin accruing ETO hours from the first day of employment - Full Time Employees: Staff who are regularly scheduled 36 - 40 hours per week accrue 18 days per year (144 hours)
- Part time Employees: Those who are regularly scheduled 28 - 35 hours per week accrue 12.5 days per year (110 hours)
- Holidays include: six core holidays and two personal days
Tax Deferred Savings Plan/ 403B Pension Plan - Employees may open a tax deferred savings plan after 3 months of employment.
- Upon completion of two years of service, Big Lake Hospice will contribute 3% of their annualized income
